Introduction

This blog is a hub of links. It began as the fruit of some research I did for a minister friend. He was going to conduct some premarital counseling soon.

I uncovered the following links for him. Then I realized that these could also help many other people.

Possible audiences include

Engaged couples

Newlyweds

Young couples still learning and adjusting

Pastors

Counselors

Others

What you will find here are just the links. They are grouped under headings.

You are invited to click on the links and bookmark the ones you like.

You can usually tell much about where the link leads by the information in the link.

This is just the first phase. Soon I hope to take these links along with hundreds of others I have and put them in to an interactive website. This will be a part of a new ministry named Our Stewardship University. The many links are raw material for the Networking Hub. Then a person can come to one central place and browse brief reviews of the very best websites that will aid them in becoming a better steward of their time, talents and treasures (things and money)

Other hubs

Prayer Hub

http://prayerhub.blogspot.com/

The Prayer Hub has links to plenty of websites dedicated to prayer. There are many excellent online articles and books on prayer. You can write a simple summary of the prayer needs for another person or yourself. Do this in a word processing program. Then copy and paste it using the links to the more than a dozen prayer groups. Then there can be more than a hundred people praying for a request in less than a day. I have witnessed amazing answers to prayers over the years by using this system. You can send prayer requests proportional to the need. Some times that could be weekly or daily.

Bible Study Hub

http://biblestudyhub.blogspot.com/

The way to grow spiritually is to consistently study the Bible. Thankfully there are many Bible study aids online for free. Use the links from the Bible Study Hub to learn about these tools. Then bookmark them for later use.

It would be wise to get into the habit of both studying the Bible alone and together. You can support one another unto this healthy habit.

Solitude Hub

http://solitudehub.blogspot.com/

There are times when solitude is needed. Leaving the single lifestyle and entering into the married lifestyle requires major adjustments. There are internal mental and emotional matters that require processing. There are needs to just get away from the noise and distractions of daily life to draw near to Jesus Christ. There are times as a couple that you both need to get away together, just the two of you without a movie, restaurant or anything else.

In every city there are parks. If you look hard enough you will find nature trails, just ask at the public library or online. Plus there are some special spots that are worthy of seeking, finding and remembering. The Solitude Hub has a list of place in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Many more Hubs

http://hubofhubs.org/

The Hub of Hubs website has links to many other hubs. Some are full of links and others are full of questions. Look on the left side of this site and explore the options.

If there are sites you find here that you feel need to be removed then let me know. And if there are sites you wish to have added then contact me, John S. Oliver at bridgebuilder2006@gmail.com
